Why it matters
Two-thirds of 65+ Americans own a smartphone. Most don't feel fluent.
Pew Research finds two-thirds of Americans over 65 own a smartphone, but only about 40% describe themselves as "comfortable" using it. The single most common reason older adults ask family for phone help: "I don't know what this screen is asking me." Not the hardware. Not the apps. The interruptions — modals, pop-ups, prompts that everyone else dismisses on autopilot.

Will MeMe Care read my parent's passwords?
The screenshot leaves their phone only long enough for MeMe Care to read and explain it, then it's dropped. We don't save screenshots, we don't save explanations, and we don't train AI on any of them.
What if my parent can't figure out how to take a screenshot?
MeMe Care has a voice guide that walks them through it the first time — side button + volume up. It's usually a one-time learning curve. Some families pre-tag a common pop-up spot with an NFC sticker so the question starts there.
Can I control my parent's iPhone remotely?
No. MeMe Care doesn't do remote control. It explains what's on the screen and what to do — that's it. For things only you can fix (Apple ID recovery, specific account settings), MeMe Care says so plainly.
Does this work on Android?
iPhone first. Android is next on the roadmap. When you join the waitlist, you pick the device so we can tell you the moment your parent's platform is ready.
What about the Mac or iPad?
Today MeMe Care runs on the phone they already carry. Mac and iPad screenshots aren't in scope yet.
