Built into the product
Photos stay encrypted.
Your photo is encrypted the moment it leaves your phone, and we never use it to train AI. We keep an encrypted copy of each help so you can look back on it — encrypted with a key only your account can unlock, and automatically deleted after 180 days unless you choose to keep it.
Health notes stay locked.
Health and medication notes are stored in a locked vault that even MeMe staff can't open.
How Family plans work
Each senior on a Family plan gets their own private monthly allowance — 100 helps and 60 voice minutes that belong to them alone. Not shared, not pooled. If Mom uses all hers and Dad barely uses his, Dad's aren't “borrowed” to cover Mom. Each person has their own, every month. That way one heavy-usage month from one person doesn't leave someone else without help mid-month.
Common questions
Who pays?
The trusted contact (or anyone setting up the account) pays. The primary user never sees a billing screen.
What counts as a help?
Each time the primary user photographs a document — a bill, medication label, piece of mail, etc. — it uses one help from the plan.
Can I add extra helps mid-month?
Yes. Top-ups are available right from the dashboard: 20 extra helps for $3.99, or 30 extra voice minutes for $2.99.
Is there a free trial?
The 3-Day Pass ($2.99) is the closest thing to a trial — 6 helps over a weekend. Low commitment, real usage.
What's the difference between Standard and Family 2?
Standard is one seat for one senior. Family 2 is two seats, each with its own private 100 helps and 60 voice minutes a month — so two independent users, not two people sharing one bucket. Family 3 extends that to three independent allowances. Pick Family when more than one person in the household needs their own helper.
Can I upgrade or change plans mid-month?
Yes, anytime from the dashboard. Upgrades take effect right away and we prorate the new plan for the rest of the billing period — you only pay the difference for the days remaining. Downgrades apply at the next renewal so you don't lose the allowance you already paid for.
